UPDATE: Meg has decided to withdraw her charming profile. Maybe she fell in love, maybe she got suddenly shy… we’ll never know for sure.

BUT we’ve got an elegant bachelor up next. Be the first to throw your hat in the ring, ladies — this one won’t be available for long! (next FNS comes out Wednesday 2/22 — stay tuned)

I’m sitting here drinking wine with my friends who thought this was a good idea – but I’m a little nervous, I won’t lie. However, I like people, and I like beer, so I’m generally game.

I’m a real estate agent and I have two horses named Rocky and Squirrel. I’ll try almost anything and go back over and over again if it’s fun and makes us laugh. I love drag shows at Jake’s. I’m not a big romantic and I love to read.

I love my friends and most of my family, and spending time with them over dinner or exercise or clam digging adventures are my favorite parts of life. My friends and I make family dinner every Sunday night where we always have chicken because it is the only thing we can agree on – but with another group of friends I have horrible chicken night once a month, where we don’t necessarily have to make chicken. I go out of my way for them whenever and wherever I can, as they would for me. It’s what we do.

I have separate ring tones and nick names for everyone in my phone that no one would ever ever understand except for us, which is what matters. Everything in our lives is full of inside jokes that could be misunderstood, but are not actually offensive, like the groaning Jesus lamp that lives in the garage where we work out everyday. Working out is a big part of my life but I am just as happy to go to the movies or have a drink at a local bar or get a piece of pizza.

I can’t really predict what kind of man I’m looking for – I’m thinking he’d have to be funny and smart, nice and reliable.

I like all kinds of people, but you have to be a good person who respects all kinds of opinions and all kinds of people, because if we’re honest my friends are probably going to show up at the bar while we’re on this date and pretend it’s an accident. They aren’t that slick but they are charming.

That’s ok though, because I like good stories, and I’m thinking that’s what this will turn into. I have a pretty fun full life, and am looking for somebody who wants to be a part of that. ◙

If you would like to go on a date with Meg, send an email and pic to olympiapowerandlight@gmail.com explaining why she should date you! If she agrees, you’ll end up in this newspaper!
