Olympia City Council Priorities and Parking
In our article on city council priorities, we said that every Olympia City Council candidate in the last election supported the parking strategy, some with minor quibbles. That was mostly right. Then-candidate Jeannine Roe strongly opposed one key element of that strategy, namely installing parking meters in the free parking area. Now-Councilmember Roe recently voted against funds to install the parking meters.
